A VIEW OF PEACEFULNESS

After receiving 2-3 inches of snow overnight, I set out to photograph this recent snowfall along Eakin Creek West on this 2nd day of the New Year. The temperature was in the mid 20's with little to no wind and overcast conditions. Just before reaching the creek, I stop at this bridge overlooking the South Fork Kishwaukee River with a peachleaf willow tree standing behind and winter elderberry bushes in the foreground to take it all in and admire the view while snapping off a few shots.
