FIRST SNOW ON SCOTT LAKE

I arrived at Scott Lake early in the morning in late September to a fresh blanket of snow. It was the first snowfall of the season and I wanted to capture this beautiful, awe inspiring and amazing scene. The clouds broke up a little to let the sunlight shine on Scott Lake and on the fir trees. I had been wanting to capture this area with snow for along time, but it is not accessible during the bad weather months, I was fortunate enough I was heading to this place while it was snowing. This is my favorite of all my photographs. (163-70)
