THE WIDE EXPANSE OF THE HONEY LOCUST

A thick heavy fog surrounds the park on this wet morning as I make my way through the park only to be able to see about 50 yards ahead. I decide to photograph silhouettes of trees, and close up subjects like this honey locust tree along with Wildflower Lake behind in black and white which adds a little more mystery and mood to the images. In this image, I wanted to give a sense at how wide the honey locust tree was and filled the frame with the its wide expanse. The fog lasted a few hours during the morning and by the time I was finished photographing the foggy landscape this morning, there was so much moisture in the air that my hair was completely drenched.
